“Dear Emma, pizza & wine bar” is a taste of Napoli style pizza in our beautiful little community. A simple concept, specializing in some starters, salads, pizzas and desserts. Using our Napoli pizza oven as our benchmark piece of kitchen equipment, we strive to deliver a valuable dining experience every time you visit. We believe in positive customer, staff and supplier relations, respecting the fact that we are all just living, flying by the seat of our pants, trying to make a better life for the ones we love and care for around us. We are not perfect, we dont even believe in that, yet on most days, our dough tastes it. Don’t be shy, come by, say hi, we would love to have you in our house for an evening of great food, music, service, ambiance and drinks. A place to love your partner or friend over a fresh meal. A home that wouldn’t be the home it is without children. Bring yours, the best compliment we ever get is when a kid takes thier last bite. Shadowed by a DOP certified San Marzano tomato moustache smile straight from the foothills of Mount Vesuvius. A collection of local ingredients from local farmers and Canadian suppliers, we are trying to carve out a sustainable footprint, that makes sense economically and supports the local machine to spin gently. Our approach is cultural, seasonal and calculated. Learning the Italian way is respecting the art of the craft. The craft is pizza. The art is delicious. This might not make us rich, but we feel rich. We eat pizza everyday, sometimes twice a day. Eyes closes, gentley nodding in satisfaction as we take our first bite. Like a one way ticket to Naples, a nostalgia of the senses that just never gets old. So we work to protect the integrity of our reputation by ensuring every pizza that comes out of the most expensive oven ever slaps you in the mouth like your prom date. We are people pleasers, just out here trying to make moments memorable again. It’s the life we have chosen. The perks are to die for. We have dreams here. Micro and macro dreams associated with the growth of a brand that builds a legacy bigger than itself. To help guide the industry into calmer waters, not so much rough and tumble mumbo jumbo, just consistency and cooperation. The barriers of the industry have been constructed with iron fists and grizzled egos. We are chipping away at those constraints to define our own laws of existence. The customer is not always right. they are all beautiful and special in their own little way tho. Just like you and I. We understand the idea of staying humble, being considerate of others and enjoying the process of it all. We don’t back down because we dont like to get our back up against the wall. We defy the inclination to let a bad mood impact our neighbors day, for we love and protect our neighbours. its all we have at the end of the day. So we stay positive, we keep our chin up and we push forward. Believing in short term cognitive or behaviourial therapy to work on the parts of our parents that we dont like about ourselves. We are exceptional. We work hard, smart and with a purpose. The purpose is food, the food is pizza, the pizza is awesome, and the awesome has been curated by design. You are not here yet.
